Now new energy vehicles have become main development direction of autoindustry, and the new energy vehicle research direction included hybrid electricvehicles (HEV), pure electric vehicle (EV) and fuel cell cars (FCV), of this threemain direction, hybrid electric cars is the transitional form that from the traditionalinternal combustion engine to the pure electric cars, Its main characteristic is thathybrid electric cars are better than the traditional internal combustion enginevehicles in vehicle emission and fuel economy, besides in dynamic performanceand vehicle mileage is better than pure electric car, so it can be said that it is thecollection of traditional vehicles and the electric car. In recent years, especially inthe developed European countries, changing the hybrid electric vehicles intoplug-in hybrid electric vehicle is the main development direction of hybrid electricvehicle, through used of plug-in technology, the fuel consumption andenvironmental protection of hybrid electric vehicles have been taken a big stepforward.In this paper, a domestic mini-car is studied; a comprehensive analysis of thecharacteristics of such mini-car is done, besides taking into plug-in account. Inorder to change this type of car into the appropriate modification hybrid structureform and select the appropriate modifications for the car’s hybrid structure. Byanalysis of the overall structure of the vehicle and selection of vehicles parameters,using the vehicle theory, the parameters of power-train is calculated. According tothe calculation results, we have made a simulation experiment for power-trainparameters in the Advisor simulation software environment. Finally through a kindof road test on the road in line with national standards for road driving cycle testcompared the results with the previous calculation, in order to verify the aboveresults are reasonable.
