The application of composite materials in lightweight of electric car has become a research hotspot. The composite materials with lots of advantages such as high strength, light weight, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance is better than steel. However, there is no separate statics mechanics analysis for electric automobile covering parts made of composite materials. This paper, comes from the Chinese academy of sciences knowledge innovation project important direction, will analysis and research the mechanics performance of composite materials covering on electric automotive. The main research contents of paper are as follows:First of all, the mechanical model of automobile covering parts is established according to the mechanical properties of composite materials. Contrast rigidity of composite materials and steel material for automotive covering parts in ANSYS.This paper compares and analyzes the two simulation results consistent with automotive covering parts rigidity theory, and the real experimental results conforms rigidity theory that guarantee the mechanical models of automobile covering parts is validity with the simulation analysis.Then, analyze the mechanical model for finite element. Simulate constraint and load of entity experiment, calculate stiffness and strength of automotive covering parts, the calculation results meet the requirements of national standard. The results show that the composite materials of electric automobile body covering parts not only reduce the weight of the body, and meet the requirement of the mechanical properties of automobile body covering parts, it has huge development potential.Finally, use the memetic algorithm to optimize the design of the automobile covering parts layer. Map composite laminated board spreading layers as chromosomes and code chromosomes; set population scope covering parts according to composite materials manufacturing and electric vehicle model; generate initial population from the original population variation; reduce the solution space by choosing the best population with the greedy algorithm; internal cross the best population to generate the new individuals which are different from the parent; calculate and analysis of the individuals again to get the highest fitness individual which is also the optimal layer structure.This paper has detailed the theoretical analysis, calculation and simulation analysis and layer optimization of the T300 / AG80 composite electric automobile body covering parts, further improved the mechanics properties of composite material body covering parts, and verified the important influence of the layer mode to the mechanical properties, finally the optimal layer results are obtained. In this paper, the research work on composite electric automobile body covering parts has important theoretical guiding significance and provides the practical application of the electric car with a certain reference value.
