With the development of mobile internet and rising performance of varies mobile devices, the power supply of those device has become a great issue. This dissertation has demonstrated a scheme of omnidirectional magnetic resonant wireless power transfer technique. This paper illustrates the history of wireless power transfer technique, and elaborates the difference of dual-rings, quad-rings, domino, and omnidirectional wireless power transfers designs. Equivalent circuit method and coupling mode theory, two widely used theories in wireless power transfer, has been elaborated. The negative-output-power issue of omnidirectional magnetic resonant wireless power transfer with 90 degree excitation has been discovered in this paper. In order to annihilate the negative-output-power issue, a self-adoptive phase switched excitation magnetic resonant wireless power transfer scheme is proposed. The design and simulation result of modules in this scheme, such as the oscillator, positive/negative amplifier, bi-directional coupler, power probe module and E class power amplifier, have been demonstrated. |
