Space Plug-and-Play Architecture(SPA) is one of key technologies of Operationally Responsive Space(ORS). The research and development(R&D) mode of traditional satellites designed with custom component wastes a lot time on ORS satellites rapid launching and deployment. SPA system solves the problem by space Plug-and-Play(Pn P) technology, and the cost and time on ORS satellite R&D were shortened effectively.Firstly, the standard and operation mechanisms was analyzed in this thesis, and 4 key technologies which implement the space Pn P function were extracted. Then, the 3 key technologies was researched in the thesis, including SPA interface technology, SPA ontology technology and SPA Software technology. Meanwhile, the technique intension and operation mechanisms of the 3 key technologies were researched in detail. Through researching on SPA interface technology, the component discovery mechanism, component registration mechanism and component service quering & subscripting mechanism were nailed down. The Pn P interface was realized by the SPA interface technology; Through researching on SPA ontology, component self-describing mechanism was nailed down, and the Pn P information of components could be described by x TEDS; Through researching on SPA software technology, the mechanisms of quering and distribution service for component in Satellite Data Model(SDM) were nailed down, and the Pn P service of component could be queried or distributed automatically by the SPA Software. At last, The Appliqué Sensor Interface Module was developed based on the above reserch. The demonstration platform was built, and the development & debugging of the platform was implemented in this thesis.The verification results of demonstration platform showed that the component could be detected and registered by the SPA system when the component was introduced into SPA system, and the SPA software could query and distribute service automatically for component by the x TEDS. The space Pn P function of the SPA system was realized by researching on key technologies of SPA system. The results showed that the time and cost spent on satellite design, assembly, integrity and test was shortened effectively for the space Pn P function of SPA system.
