The rapid development of hardware equipment makes it possible to design more miniaturization of millimeter wave seeker, which is also the urgent need in millimeter wave technology research. And the stealth technology in recent years has suffered great development so that enemy’s attack can be effectively avoided, which has become the future development trend of all kinds of military equipment. As a result, the technology of weak target detection before tracking research has become the necessary research, as well as improving the detection performance under low SNR and multi-target tracking technology with random distribution also turn to hot issues in the field of target tracking.Based on the existing technology and practical problems, this paper intends to study the millimeter-wave signal processing technology and engineering implementation, as well as the multi-objective detection before tracking based on dynamic programming. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Research on the whole study of millimeter wave radar signal processing algorithms, including orthogonal dual channel signal acquisition, single pulse angle measuring technology, radar signal used in work and performance analysis.(2) Improve the millimeter wave seeker in engineering application methods. Firstly, the overall system structure is introduced in the perspective view. Then make detailed research on each part of the engineering practice methods, including the detailed research on display and control system, specially using a time saving way for data validation and consumers in production cycle for data display and record. And the signal processor of the composition and working process is also studied. Finally, the direct digital frequency synthesizer data generation and solution of GPS data are done with detailed researches.(3) Analysis the weak target track before detect technology. Firstly, Hough transform method of detecting single objective track before detect technology and dynamic programming track before detect technology are analyzed. Then the multiobjective dynamic programming track before detect technology is studied. Finally, to solve the problem that dynamic programming track before detect methods take a lot of time on computation, a track before detect algorithm is proposed in this paper, which is based on parallel computing dynamic programming. It takes the use of differences among the cumulative function values of different targets when the state transition set of dynamic programming are not the same, so that the energy accumulated in the same direction with the along-track direction obtains better track accumulation while others not. This algorithm makes it easier for the same direction of the track to be detected and at the same time the overall computing time is reduced by the share of each calculating core. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that, compared with the MT-DP-TBD methods, the new method improves the detection performance of weak targets, while reduces the computing time.
