Building energy consumption accounts for a significant proportion of total energy consumption. Building energy saving is an important part to realize the sustainable development of our resources and it plays a key role in national energy and resource saving strategies. Shedding of the building exterior wall finishes not only affects the beauty of the city, and could pose a security risk. In this context, this paper puts forward the structure system of decoration masonry sandwich wall. By the study of this system, the problems of energy consumption through exterior walls and shedding of the building exterior wall finishes could be solved.For the structure system of decoration masonry sandwich wall, the main contents and the results of this paper are as follows:(1) In this paper, the concept of invisible double beam is proposed. Different spans of supporting beam specimens were studied, and their bearing capacity and deflection data are obtained. The results indicated that the beams were shear failure, and the bearing capacity of the beams improve with the increase of mortar strength.(2) In this paper, the concrete brittle cracking model of ABAQUS was adopted to simulate the supporting beam specimens, and then expand parameter analysis of the supporting beam specimens were done. And the formulas for calculating the bearing capacity and deflection of the supporting beam were proposed.(3)The connectors between the invisible double beams were designed for 3.0m, 4.0m span of supporting beams, and the optimal cross-section of the connector was obtained with the sequential quadratic programming algorithm. Then the optimal cross-section of the connector was proved to be correct by ABAQUS. In addition, this paper made some requests on the construction practices of the decoration masonry sandwich wall.
