The most effective measures to improve the dilemma that the photovoltaic industry faces are exploring the application technology of photovoltaic according to the local conditions, combining photovoltaic better with the application environment, seeking higher efficiency, and extending the application industry of photovoltaic technology. The intelligent greenhouse integrates the characteristics such as light, electricity, and heat, whose main characteristics are high yield, high quality, and environmental protection. Intelligent greenhouse is an important sign of agricultural modernization. The organic combination of photovoltaic industry and greenhouse technology will promote the development of their own, and has broad space for development and positive research significance.Based on the characteristics of photovoltaic power generation technology and greenhouse, and combined with an actual greenhouse structure, this paper designed a photovoltaic power system, energy storage and distribution system which can apply in the greenhouse. What’s more, this paper developed a remote monitoring system with the function of energy management and greenhouse intelligent operation. The main contents and achievements as follows:(1) According to the structural characteristics of greenhouse and the cultivation requirements of the sunshine intensity and uniformity, a new type of double glass solar battery components are used and installed on the top of the greenhouse directly. Small amounts of battery are put in the photovoltaic power generation system because of the non-uniformity of electricity load and photovoltaic power variability phenomenon. In order to improve reliability of power supply, the photovoltaic power generation system is paralleled with the electric supply. In addition, the corresponding controller and inverter are developed.(2) The energy management strategy is formulated according the principle of immediate use, and some factors such as power supply quality and battery safety protection.(3) Based on the ZigBee short-range wireless networking technology, the data acquisition system is developed. Then, the power distribution control system and the monitoring display system are designed based on PLC and the LabVIEW technology respectively. The energy management strategy and the intelligent greenhouse monitoring are realized.(4) Analyzing the energy efficiency of the solar greenhouse according to the statistics of photovoltaic power generation and equipment utilization.The technology studied in this paper has been applied in the actual greenhouse and the results meet the design requirements. This technology has played a very good efficiency on energy saving and emission reduction and create conditions for the accuracy of greenhouse plant cultivation.
