Achieving the age limit, or not reaching the requirements of current standard, the structures need to be reinforced by appropriate measuresthes, so that these structures can meet the regulations of safety, comfort and durability. In concrete structure reinforcement project, epoxy resin or epoxy resinous material are usually used for crack repair and chemical grouting. However, we should notice the poor fire resistance of epoxy resinous materials, moreover, standard does not make a clear demand for its fire-resistant properties, so there are security risks by using epoxy resinous materials. Therefore I do some research on its fire-resistant property. To study the fire-resistant properties of epoxy-resion-reinforced steel concrete shear walls, I designed four test specimens with defects and reinforced with epoxy resin, two of them have reinforced concrete protective layer over the reinforced layer. With the open-flamed exposure according to the ISO834 standard temperature rising curve under a constant vertical load, I compared and studied the effects of different defect size and additional reinforced concrete protective layer to the fire-resistant property of reinforced concrete shear wall. After the test, morphological changes of each specimen are described, and comparative analysis of the test specimen during the axial deformation are recorded. The results shows that after the three-hour fire resistance test, two of the test specimens gets a compression failure; the other two do not produce significant damage, and meet the fire resistance requirements of the standard. Specimens with no additional reinforced concrete protective layer has lost the epoxy resin and the reinforcement effect; specimens with additional protective layer has its epoxy resin layer surface carbonized, the following section has not damaged, and would still be able to regain the function of reinforcement after cooling. On the basis of test, I conduct numerical simulation analysis for the temperature field and the axial deformation of the specimens by using finite element software ABAQUS. Theoretical result and experimental results were compared, analyzed and mutual authentication.
