Power cables as an important power grid electricity conduction facilities, to ensure reliable operation of the power cable, power cable must be ruled out regularly to detect potential problems. The corresponding detection technique also caught the attention of many experts around the world, and one power cable insulation defect detection and location technology is one of the research priorities.Oscillation tests developed in recent years in an offline cable detection techno logy, the AC voltage has a good volunteers. And compared to AC voltage and ultra-low-voltage, with a short duration of action, easy operation, the oscillation test system by the oscillation excitation voltage power cable insulation defects that may exist in the partial discharge signal, the signal generated by the detection of defects will be determined to achieve internal cable insulation defect detection and location of partial discharge magnitude. If the cable is defective, the oscillation voltage at partial discharge signals through the remote data processing unit of the oscillation signal processing, the partial discharge signal detected can determine the cable insulation performance is good. Working with cable defect or malfunction in the oscillation signal effect will produce partial discharge signal, the frequency of the signal can be up to several tens of megahertz, according to the traditional Nyquist sampling methods, the signal to be sampled, AD and other hardware frequencies up to several megahertz; at the same time, large amounts of data for high-speed sampled data storage systems also made high-speed storage requirements, in subsequent data processing also discarded many high-frequency sampling information, resulting in waste of computing and storage resources issues.CS theory of signal characteristics have sparse low speed sampling, to reconstruct the original signal by collecting a small amount of the signal, not only reduces the hardware requirements, but also improves the compression efficiency. In this paper, based on CS theory choose to use the AIC random modulation engineering realization of the power cable insulation defect signal processing, low sampling rate, low-cost cable insulation signal samples.The results show that this scheme can well restore the original signal, while significantly reducing the sampling frequency oscillation test signal cable, further simplifying the design requirements for data acquisition and storage systems, thus greatly reducing the oscillation of tester data processing cost module.
