Through the comparison of hydraulic balance adjustment mode, this paper seeks to find a generally method to solve the problem of the primary heating network’s hydraulic balance and operations optimization, then solve the problem of “the hydraulic imbalance mode” which exists in many years running of the primary heating network. In this paper, we use the methods of “The theoretical analysis-Modeling analysis of the engineering example- The theoretical analysis” to anlyse the hydraulic conditions of the branched pipe network which is used the most commonly in cities, then we introduce the concept of graph theory.Combined the mathematical model of hydraulic conditions, we use the Heating and Air Conditioning piping simulation and Analysis Toolkit(HacNet) to simulate the engineering example. We input the flow rate, the diameter and others of the project’s primary heating network into HacNet, and then simulate the topology emulation model. From the results of the operation, we are aimed to find the best state of the hydraulic conditions based on the energy efficiency standards, in order to achieve an optimal balance of the hydraulic conditions. On the basis of the model, we anlyse the valve regulating of the traditional central heating system and the inverter control of the distributed variable frequency secondary pump central heating system. From the results,we base on the energy-saving scope of the hydraulic balance degree to analyse the stability of different central heating systems. Then we come to the conclusion that the distributed variable frequency secondary pump central heating system is more more economic and more environmentally friendly than the traditional central heating system, even more, the secondary pump system is more conducive to the balance of the hydraulic. On the basis of the conclusion, we further anlyse the pros and cons of the four patterns of the secondary pump central heating system, and give a Scientific outlook to this system.
