Currently, energy conservation has become one of today’s hydraulic technology application and development problems that can not be ignored. Traditional high-power electric hydraulic proportional valve hydraulic system has been achieved a smooth, fast, accurate control of the actuator. However, the low transmission efficiency has always plagued the development of such a hydraulic system. Based on the high-power hydraulic system’s multi-pump and multi-actuator, a hydraulic matrix circuit that can achieve different flow, pressure output characteristics and has a power reserve and regulatory capacity is proposed. It can not only match the dynamic load conditions change, and that can make global deployment of energy flow, it reaches the purpose of energy-efficient systems.This paper’s main research work are:First, This paper defines the valve matrices and hydraulic matrix circuit, analyses the composition and working principle of hydraulic matrix circuit, gives the design principles of hydraulic matrix circuit, analyses the energy saving characteristics and redundancy of hydraulic matrix circuit, establishes the mathematical model of valve matrices, and eventually gives the suitable hydraulic system of hydraulic matrix circuit.Second, because a single pressure source is not well matched each actuator load of multi actuators system, also can not match the single actuator’s variable load conditions change, and is conducive to recycling and renewable energy. Based on hydraulic matrix circuit, this paper puts forward that multistage pressure source hydraulic matrix circuit, analysis principle of the multistage pressure source hydraulic matrix circuit, research the realization of the multilevel output force, discusses the energy saving mechanism, and the pressure switch control method is given.Third, multistage pressure source hydraulic position control system as an example, the paper established its mathematical model, simulate the control performance and energy saving features of the system after using the multistage pressure source hydraulic matrix circuit.Finally, the paper established a multistage pressure source hydraulic position control system experimental platform. The paper verifies that the multi-stage hydraulic pressure source position control system has a significant energy saving effect through the experiment. But the position following features still need to improve.The study carried out by the this paper lays the foundation for the hydraulic matrix circuit research, but also provides a new idea of hydraulic system energy saving.
