Cartridge proportional throttle valve used as a key control element in medium-sized hydraulic system, with high traffic, fast response, high pressure, long life and other advantages, its static and dynamic characteristics have a direct impact on the static and dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic system, has become China’s fluid drive and control technology is an extremely important issue direction. However, the entire cartridge proportional throttle valve static and dynamic characteristics directly depends on the pilot stage valve, therefore, it is necessary to choice the appropriate pilot stage valve for the condition needs of cartridge proportional throttle to make the entire valve static and dynamic characteristics best. This article will focus on studying the issue through combining the methods of theoretical modeling and simulation analysis, optimization, experimental verification.Work principle and structure trait of DN80 cartridge proportional throttle valve are introduced in the dissertation, considering all factors, its nonlinear mathematical model is established. And then MATLAB/Simulink software is employed to build a simulation model and make cartridge proportional throttle valve dynamic simulation, while analysis the influence of open-loop gain, the natural frequency of the static and dynamic characteristics of cartridge proportional throttle valve.Based on above research, pilot stage structure and external parameters of cartridge proportional throttle valve are optimized by static optimization method of multi-objective genetic algorithm for the problem of step response slow, It applies multi-objective constrained minimum optimization method to optimize the structure parameters of the cartridge proportional throttle valve on choosing the parameter of the natural frequency of the pilot stage、the valve orifice area gradient、oil pressure as the design variables and making the speediness and the steady error of the cartridge proportional throttle valve as the object function. Then for the poor stability of the entire valve problems, controller parameters of cartridge proportional throttle valve is optimized by dynamic characteristics optimization to achieve optimal cartridge proportional throttle valve dynamics purposes.Finally, experimental studies, the multi-objective genetic algorithm is applied to the actual cartridge proportional throttle valve design, analysis and optimization the influence of pilot stage valve parameters, external parameters and controller parameters for cartridge proportional throttle valve static and dynamic characteristics by comparison step response curve and the sine response curve. Through analyzing the specifications of experimental results and simulation results, the experimental curve of dynamic characteristics is basically identical with the theoretical simulation, the feasibility of the theory of multi-objective genetic algorithm applied to study the dynamic characteristics of cartridge proportional throttle valve is verified, for the study of proportional throttle cartridge valve provides a new technical support.
