Under the complex and changeable market environment, engineering change was inevitable in the product whole life cycle. When conducting engineering change in the workshop, the problem of chaotic production plan, the production capacity of equipment shortage, unstable product quality would happen, resulting in the production of disorder in the system. Therefore, effective management must be carried on to reduce the negative impact of engineering change on manufacturing.In order to ensure the stable operation of workshop production system under the engineering change environment, the analysis was carried on to the workshop production system after the change from the perspective of the production bottlenecks and the bottleneck was found out in system to be improved. The mathematical model was set up based on bottleneck index, from which measured each production unit capacity to be the bottleneck in system through two aspects in production capacity and quality. And then the bottleneck identification model was established, the production unit which has the biggest bottleneck index was considered as the bottleneck in the system. By means of process parameters optimizing on the bottleneck, production system could improve product performance and product quality. So the situation was improved. Then the model of decision tree was set up. Training decision trees through experimental data, we could get a series of rules and select the condition of target classification rules as the results of parameter optimization. In order to verify the proposed method, the simulation model of the bottleneck of prediction and improvement was established and results showed the validity of simulation model. At last, this paper had realized the design and development of various function modules of production process management system. The software architecture is based on B/S.Bottleneck analysis and Countermeasures of engineering change aimed at reducing negative impact on manufacturing, solved the problem of confusion and provided new ideal and solutions for in-depth study of engineering change and application.
