The traditional measure of shell lethality is damage area or radius,which is based on probability.In virtue of the uncertainty of the target distribution density, the final result will be imprecise and can not realize the precise strike. To address this problem, this paper proposes a new method on the basis of fragment shot line, which is realized through the visual simulation.Firstly, this paper analyses the main factors affecting the artillery power. The mathematical model of interior ballistics and external trajectory are established respectively, and the influence of random wind for the latter is analized. Different factors affecting fragment shot line is discussed, the corresponding mathematical model is established, and all kinds of parameters are calculated for each valid fragment.Secondly, both single step method and multistep method to solve ordinary differential equations can not meet the demand of computational efficiency and accuracy. This paper presents a new algorithm called Runge Kutta comined with Adams, and experiments show that the computing speed and precision of the algorithm are improved.Finally, after studying some kinds of collision detection, the target missile intersection collision detection model based on AABB Bounding box is proposed, which considers authenticity and real-time of visualization simulation. The 3D virtual simulation is realized using C#, Matlab and OpenGL. The researchers can observe the whole process of projectile trajectory and the whole target damage process by fragments from multiple angles, and the simulation is vivid and fluent.
