Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the domestic and foreign research on rock engineering, more and more slope engineering is appearing in rocky areas. In rock slope, slope instability and failure is mainly controlled by the discontinuities in rock mass. Rock strength, deformation characteristics and failure model is closely related with the discontinuities in rock mass, mechanical properties of discontinuities play a very important influence in slope stability. In general, the nature of the slope failure is the internal discontinuities of rock or crack softening failure under the condition of external or internal load. This damage is not a sudden, but a gradual process, each point in the discontinuities is not reached shear strength at the same time. In this process, the discontinuity is gradually getting through, the deformation is gradually increasing, the slope is weakening and damaging. Based on the above problems, this paper is mainly study on the model of limit state of a part in discontinuity that caused slope failure, the specific contents are as follows:â‘  On the basis of previous studies, considering the cohesive force and the friction force in discontinuity respectively, the paper establishes a discontinuity constitutive model, gives the method to determine the parameters of this model, and analyzes the function characteristics of the model, discusses its rationality by comparing with the Kulun model.â‘¡ Based on the discontinuity constitutive model, the study build a slope calculating model controlled by limit state of a part in discontinuity, including displacement model and resistance model. The displacement model is used for analysis the displacement of slope discontinuity. Through displacement model, the paper builds resistance model of slope, resistance model reflects the resistance distribution law of slope discontinuity. Using examples, it analysis slope displacement or slope resistance under the influence of discontinuity angle, slope angle, slope height, etc.â‘¢ Using the limit state of a part in discontinuity controlled slope failure calculating model, the paper studies the influence of discontinuity in slope stability and the method of slope supporting, builds the slope displacement model considered supporting force, the slope displacement control model, slope stability calculation model. The paper discusses the influence of discontinuity angle, slope height, and other factors on the slope stability. At last it tells the use of slope stability calculation model.
