Civil aviation flight safety is an eternal theme, is the basis of the air transport industry to maintain rapid growth. As an important part of aviation safety operation,aeronautical meteorological information services needed to provide timely, accurate and comprehensive weather information for the aviation system, thereby reducing all kinds of air accidents due to weather factors. According to the actual needs of China’s civil aviation transportation aviation weather information service, Considering meteorological data types and storage format diverse nature, system construction,operation and maintenance of high cost, low resource utilization in traditional aeronautical meteorological information service system construction, Studied the aviation meteorological information service system and design, first of all,summarizes the characteristics of meteorological data required by the system, design realized the assimilation of multi-source heterogeneous meteorological data processing module, make the system be able to access timely, accurate and comprehensive meteorological information; Then further study the cloud computing technology, and using cloud computing technology management program in the computer hardware resources; Finally through the analysis of the visual rules of meteorological elements, finished based on the meteorological data visualization expression of Web GIS technology, the main research work is as follows:(1) According to the actual demand, complete the overall architecture of the system design, architecture design, functional design, database design, etc. The system uses four-tier B/S architecture, and includes four modules,such as data processing module, meteorological products processing and display module, air data visualization module, flight track module. Completed the development of aviation meteorological information service system prototype system based on open-source Web GIS and cloud management software.(2) Research and design fast and efficient multi-source heterogeneous processing program. Analyzes and summarizes tthe meteorological data with a distributed and heterogeneous characteristics, study of various types of meteorological data format, find a way to organize and assimilation of meteorological data processing.The same time, other types of data systems have also been used in the corresponding treatment.(3) Aviation meteorological information service system used the cloudcomputing technology. Studied the concept and characteristics of cloud computing technology, then analyzes and summarizes the advantages of using the cloud computing technology in aviation meteorological information service system,including high resource utilization and high reliability, etc. Finally, successfully building a private cloud platform.(4) Research the method of meteorological data visualization method. Analyzes the visualization of the various categories of meteorological data, include point meteorological elements, line point meteorological elements, image data, etc. And in accordance with these rules completed the meteorological data visualization.
