More and more people begin to know and value building energy efficiency. In today’s increasingly serious energy situation, building energy efficiency gets a more prominent position. Solar energy is a clean and sustainability energy. Ground source heat pump is a kind of heat pump technology used low-grade soil energy. Coupling both can achieve efficient using of energy and make up for their shortcomings and deficiencies. It has great potential for energy savings. This paper introduces a system which use ground source heat pump to supply buildings heating in the winter, and use solar radiation to supply domestic hot water all the year-round. The solar energy is also used to supply heat to soil when the radiation is strong in the summer. It can make up for the soil temperature changes caused by the long-running of ground source heat pump. It both realized seasonal use of solar energy, and improved the applicability of ground source heat pump.In this paper, the system is applied to the situation that the outdoor temperature is low, the heating time is long, and the heating loads is larger in severe cold regions. A test is giving on the running conditions of the actual project in Yichun in heating season. The test object and test methods are selected according to the actual project, the intensity of solar radiation, temperature of heat storage tank, temperature of inlet and outlet of soil pipes, temperature of inlet and outlet of heat pump, flow of system, indoor temperature and other relevant parameters were tested in operating condition in heating season, and the actual operating conditions of system were analyzed. On the basis of experimental study, the TRNSYS software was used to simulate and analysis the system, the data is from actual tests. The operating condition and performance of the system were analyzed and the problem of soil heat balance was illustrated through the analysis of annual variation of storage tank temperature, solar fraction and soil temperature. Finally, an example of solar collector area of system optimization and improvement of direction and means. It laid a foundation for further research.
