| As China pays attention to low-carbon issues, Yunnan Province and Dali City governments brought about low-carbon development requirements and established Erhai low-carbon economic experiment zone, which is also selected as Yunnan’s low-carbon economic experiment zone. Since transportation is a major consumer of gas, releasing huge amount of carbon dioxide and contributing to a great portion of green house gas, that studying policies for low-carbon transpotation is very supportive to the construction of Erhai low-carbon econmic experiment zone.At present, high consuming transportation is the major traffic mode within the low-carbon economic experiment zone, and the major restrictions to carbon control are urban expansion, private vehicle increasing, self driving tour expansion, city function improvement, and road conjestion.In the article, the author summarized relative theriodical and experimental transportation policy examples in China and other countries. Aiming at solving transportion problems within Erhai low-carbon economic experiment zone and in combine with the social, economic, and environmental characteristics within the experimental zone, the author came up with the transportation development goal and brought development strategies for the experiment zone.The low-carbon transportation strategies for Erhai low-carbon economic experiment zone include improving urban spatial layout, carrying out different traffic policies, making traffic plans, and promoting multiple measures. |
