Permanent magnet brushless DC motor is a kind of high-tech products integrated the motor and the power electronics, which has many great advantages such as simple structure,reliable operation, high efficiency and flexible shapes and dimensions. It is wide ly used in aerospace systems, industrial automation equipment, medical equipment, transportation and household appliances.The cogging torque minimization is permanent magnet brushless dc motor research emphasis and difficulty of the design field. Existing research shows that:if the least common multiple between the slot and pole is 2p Q(p is logarithmic, Q is the number of stator slots),and the greatest common divisor is 1,the cogging torque can be greatly reduced. Being based on the expression, this article chose the approximate pole slot permanent magnet brushless dc motor to analysis, further analysis of the impact of the approximate pole slot permanent magnet brushless DC motor pole arc coefficient of cogging torque. In this paper, the performance of the motor for the same goal, using approximate pole slot and the non-approximate pole slot two kinds of schemes to design, Maximize the chance that two kinds of scheme of motor parameters, only the axial length is different, considering the axial length of the influence of the cogging torque after got the approximate extremely tank can effectively reduce the cogging torque of the conclusion.Moreover, Using Ansoft software, through the approximate parameterization scheme electrical arc coefficient of poles and slots analysis illustrates the parametric analysis application in motor design. And through the simulation software, compares the two kinds of scheme of motor performance, and the loss is used for calculation of two kinds of scheme.The design of the two initial prototype, Ansoft software optimization design and comparison, the cogging torque and loss analysis is three important part of this article.
