Study On The Design Methods Of Windows In Regular-formed Office Building

With continuous development of social economy and architecture, architectural design has shown the trend of linear and nonlinear design. Although complex and nonlinear architectural forms have their attraction, they have some application limitations due to their unique art forms, more figurative image correlation, expensive counterfeiting and other reasons. The regular-formed construction, as the representative of the linear structure, has its own advantages in the broad market. In office building facade, the relationship between the form of expression, has not replaced the position of the window, the window’s expression for the building facade and building space, has the positive significance, directive and vivid effect. Therefore, this article focuses on how to make the surface of a neat shape office building to reflect the spirit and outstanding features through the design of window, which is an important and meaningful research problem.The author did thorough analysis and research based on examples and practices with references from form Aesthetics, Optics, Psychology and so on. First of all, a clear definition for regular-formed office buildings and a thorough interpretation for this kind of building were made. Secondly, this essay focused on the design methods of regular-formed office building’s windows, covered several research contents about regular size office buildings’ windows, including basic theory and modern demand; the relationship between building fa?ade and space; and design methods. Finally, the article combined with the actual project and a research example, aiming to put forward the design methods of regular-formed office building’s windows by analyzing a large number of example research and derivation.
