In recent years,against the backdrop of rapid urban development in my country,urban construction is an important theme in the field of national construction.In the current situation,there is an increasing shortage of available land for construction in the city.Among them,commercial office buildings are frequently limited,and they are often designed under very limited site conditions.This has caused the project to have to appear in order to improve land utilization.East and west office buildings,and under the trend of using all-glass curtain walls in large quantities,aggravate the daily office environment that affects users,and lack of building shading design.This problem is more obvious due to the special sunshine climate conditions in the cold northwest region.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the design of the external sunshade of commercial office buildings under specific climatic conditions.Reasonable external shading design can not only improve the building's thermal environment,light environment,and reduce building energy consumption,but also enrich the building facade design elements,allowing the building to adapt to the natural environment in all directions.This article takes the outer sunshade design of commercial office buildings in the cold northwest region as the research object.It attempts to explore the basic research and engineering design practice of building outer sunshade by analyzing and investigating relevant domestic and foreign commercial office building cases.Problems existing in the application of external sunshade design in commercial office buildings in the northwest region.The article first puts forward the background of the research on the exterior sunshade design of commercial office buildings in the northwestern cold area,and explains the purpose and significance of this research.Secondly,through the analysis of the current research status at home and abroad and the summary of the general law,the current exterior sunshade design is determined Development trend;again,focusing on the commercial office buildings in the cold northwestern region of China,taking the external sunshade design of such buildings as the main content of the study;finally determining the methods and steps applicable to the research of the external sunshade design of the commercial office buildings in the cold northwestern region The conclusion of design application is drawn.Through the research of the paper,in order to provide specific design application methods and conclusions for the external sunshade design of commercial office buildings in the cold northwest regions.Through screening and calculation of external shading types,shading product sizes,window-to-wall ratio data,shading materials,and other factors,we will contribute ideas for such designs in the industry in the future.
