The stratum has a huge capacity of endothermic and exothermic. The temperature of stratum is lower than the outdoor air in the summer, and higher than the outdoor air in the winter. Cooling or heating outdoor air by the tunnel has a better effects of energy saving and environmental protection. In order to take advantage of tunnel ventilation, it’s very important to understand the dynamic heat transfer effect between the tunnel and the air.In this paper, the method of field test, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis are applied to analysis the dynamic heat transfer effect of the tunnel ventilation. The main contents are as follows:First of all, take the tunnel of Shisanling hydropower station for example, Determine the boundary conditions with the meteorological parameters and field test data of the tunnel. Analysis the dynamic heat transfer effect of the tunnel ventilation with CFD technology. Simulation results and field test data are compared to validate the reliability of the FLUENT numerical simulation method.Secondly, calculate the dynamic heat transfer between tunnel and the outdoor air, get the formula which for calculate energy saving potential of the tunnel. Then analysis the influence of length, air temperature and velocity on efficiency of heat transfer of the tunnel.Finally, take the tunnel of Zhen’an hydropower station for example, Analysis thermal environment of the semi-enclosed tunnel with field test data.
