Miniature circuit breaker is a kind of low-voltage protective electrical apparatus, which is widely used in household and industrial installations and distribution system for overload and short circuit protection. When the system of electrical apparatus or electrical appliances occur overload and short circuit fault, miniature circuit breakers’ tripping device should trip reliably and remove the fault line to protect people and electrical equipments. When the lines operate safely and stably, the tripping device should not have any malfunction and the contact voltage is very little to ensure the normal work of electric circuit. MCB reliability directly affects the performance of daily life and production. It will bring a great hidden security danger if is the reliability is poor. It’s a hotspot of current reliability research which is based on the reliability test. Therefore it is of high value to study MCB reliability test technology.A set of MCB reliability detection system based on LabVIEW was researched in the paper. First of all, the reliability test method and test program of MCB were researched based on the reliability theory. The hardware circuit of MCB reliability test system was designed, which includes test units of MCB operational reliability, instantaneous protection reliability and overload protection reliability. Secondly, software reliability testing system was designed based on the LabVIEW software platform, which achieved the real-time acquisition, processing, calibration function and print functions for the data.
