Along with the increase in urban population and the rapid increase of cars, traffic jams phenomenon is very serious, especially the urban rush period, road traffic severely disabled. Urban traffic lights as alleviate the urban traffic pressure, an important means to improve the efficiency of urban traffic, is playing an increasingly important role. So how to improve the design of the traffic light, make its better promote the development of urban traffic, become an important topic.Modern traffic lights general use are single-chip microcomputer control, the advantages of small volume, low cost, simple control, the advantages of high reliability. But because the passage of time, road conditions, weather and other factors, all directions of traffic at the intersection efficiency will there is a big change, almost all modern traffic control is to use a timer switch control mode, to the actual traffic situation of the optimal control signal is given. Under the condition of the vehicle is less, can not switch quickly, waiting for a long time; While the vehicle is large, cannot make all through one side of the vehicle, has switch; Even the same car after multiple consecutive close to crossing, every crossroads encounter the phenomenon of the red light.Aiming at the disadvantages of modern traffic light control scheme, this paper adopted the methods and measures for improvement were as follows:1, vehicle rare period of time, improve the switching frequency, reduce the vehicle waiting time;2, after all on one side of the vehicle by switching;3, intersection traffic lights, crossing A real-time traffic status is sent to the adjacent intersections B, intersection B according to the access to information dynamic adjust the switching frequency.Due to the rapid development of communication technology and the complicated control system, the application of network communication is more and more widely, traffic lights also started to use network macro control.A traffic lights network control algorithm is proposed in this paper, and realizes the algorithm of case analyses the effect of algorithm through the experiment, this article puts forward a model of traffic network, is presented based on fuzzy control principle of intelligent traffic light control algorithm. And use c + +, MFC programming framework(VC), simulate real-time vehicle running and traffic lights on the control function of vehicle running through the simulation of different control methods, to analyze the collected data, the optimization of traffic control scheme is given direction, at the same time to verify the traffic lights control algorithm based on fuzzy control theory.
