With the continuous development of the economic society, the demand for power is increasing. In the process of electric power transmission, 110 kV substation is the main power distribution hub station. 110 kV substation high-voltage electrical equipment is the main equipment, any one equipment failure will cause a large area power outage, so we have to strengthen the high-voltage electrical equipment monitoring and control, to ensure its safe and reliable operation.High voltage transformer, high voltage circuit breaker, high voltage switch and other characteristics of high voltage electrical equipment, such as high voltage, high load, long running time and so on, often prone to failure. The vast majority of the operating failure is due to the high voltage electrical equipment connector contact or contact resistance become large, overload, etc.. And this failure is from mild to severe, if it can be monitored in advance of its development stage, will avoid the occurrence of accidents. Therefore, the high-voltage electrical equipment to monitor the various key areas of the early warning, you can find and eliminate the safety hazards in advance.This paper designs the temperature monitoring and early warning system of high voltage switch cabinet based on fiber FBG grating sensing technology in 110 kV substation. The system is monitored by the fiber grating sensor to the temperature signal, the optical signal is resolved into electrical signal by the optical fiber temperature monitor, and the upper computer is uploaded to the host computer for analysis and processing, The theoretical basis of the identification of the temperature variation is the effective combination of BP neural network and D-S evidence theory. In the process of diagnosis, it mainly depends on the temperature information of the FBG temperature sensor, and the electrical characteristics, such as voltage, current and other information, information fusion, through MATLAB simulation, obtained a reliable, accurate diagnosis results. So as to realize the function of the temperature variable fault monitoring and early warning for the high voltage electrical equipment.
