Nowadays, the car ownership number rise dramatically, vehicle exhaust emissions have become a major source of urban pollution. Increasingly stringent emissions limits of motor vehicles and the high price of oil makes the car engine downsizing has become the trend of technological development. The core technology of the miniaturization is the turbocharge technique. In the car used turbocharger, a compressor is the core component. Efficiency and noise is the important indicators of the quality of the evaluation of the compressor. Most existing studies focused only on one optimization goal, rarely optimized two goals simultaneously. By changing the structure parameters of the impeller of the compressor models and doing numerical simulation, this paper investigate the effect of structural parameters on the compressor efficiency and noise, obtain the optimal structure of the double-objective optimization parameter combinations.Firstly, based on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis tool ANSYS, this paper use BladeGen to establish the impeller model by different parameters, and create the corresponding flow path models for orthogonal experiment; use TurboGrid to complete the topology design and meshing; set the boundary conditions, select the turbulence model and noise model and other simulation parameters in CFX-Pre; and use CFX-Solver steady-state model to simulate the work condition of the car used turbo Compressor Impeller.Second, select the appropriate parameter as a variable to do the orthogonal experiment, discuss the results of the orthogonal experiment by range analysis and fitting analysis to evaluate the significance that the influence of structural parameters on efficiency and noise. By factor index analysis and polynomial regression method, fitting curves to obtain the qualitative or quantitative influence relations between structure parameters and efficiency and noise. By using CFX-Post visualization tools such as cloud, vector, trace diagrams etc. to analyze the mechanism of the relations between structural parameters for centrifugal compressor and optimization goals.Finally, by using visual analysis and comprehensive scoring method to do the dual-target optimization and obtain the optimal parameter combination of impeller.In this paper, the optimal combination of impeller parameters achieve design goals, enhance the efficiency and noise performance of the research object by double-objective optimization methods; the results obtained during the study can provide a theoretical and numerical support of vehicle turbocharger compressor development, help increase and improve development costs and design effects of car used turbocharger compressor.
