Preliminary Study On The User-friendly Design Of Landscape Facilities In Modern City Parks

Landscape facilities in a city park is not the symbol of the overall culture and quality, but also the irreplaceable of urban culture carrier. Between city dwellers and urban residents and foreign tourists are able to achieve a good interaction and communication via city park facilities. Therefore, user-friendly design of landscape facilities in urban park is important practical significance. However, the study on user-friendly design of landscape facilities in urban parks is still scare, resulting in having a plenty of its table about landscape facilities in urban parks. At the same time, a series of issues have been investigated. Based on the above mentioned backgrounds, in the paper, we studied the user-friendly design of landscape facilities in urban parks, used the method of literature induction, field research and theory plus practice, summarized in detail about the user-friendly design of landscape facilities in Chinese urban parks. In the meanwhile, we have field-surveyed the status quo about the user-friendly design of landscape facilities of Green-Heart parks in Leshan city, Sichuan province. Furthermore, based on previous research, we initially built the design theory system of domestic user-friendly design of landscape facilities in urban park. Finally, we have verified the theory system what we built by the example of the user-friendly design of Jiazhou Green-Heart park. Some results were obtained in our work as following.(1) The survey analysis shows that the landscape facilities design with user-friendly in current urban park have some issues, such as the landscape facilities not in place, setting unreasonable, density control inaccurate, ergonomic, lack of artistic features and the lack of special populations care and other issues. The residents of the city park landscape facilities humanized design demand is mainly reflected in:fully functional, able to create a harmonious space; reflect cultural characteristics, highlighting the spirit of place; the care of the weak demand, people-oriented design; efforts to beautify the city and reduce the ecological disturbance.(2) Designing the landscape facilities with humanly in city parks, we should follow the function, sustainability, art and green principles. Meanwhile, the design strategies should include functional, systematic, pleasant, artistic and general. We should build a city park with "green", "harmony", "convenience", "pleasant" and "mood", which must be meet the different occupations, different ages and different levels of human needs.(3) The user-friendly design of landscape facilities in urban park is a whole system works, following the humane standards for measuring criteria from initial design to post-construction. However, we cannot have selfish individualism and focus on the ways of self-expression. The starting and ending points in landscape facilities design of unbar parks are human. And, Humanism is the primary purpose of the construction of environmental facilities in urban park, then completing the design of this feature in a clear basis. We should always put the needs of people feel important position in the user-friendly design of landscape facilities in urban park. The idea should include human behavior needs and psychological needs, in order to achieve a balance of landscape spatial scale facilities, human scale and psychological scales. Urban public facilities design should always stand on the artistic level, don’t skip the artistic beauty exists, pay attention to the environment and art combine to enhance the overall charm of the environment. We should take into account the nature of physical and psychological needs of vulnerable groups in the design process. Thus, no-sense of discrimination, universal design is an important manifestation of high sophisticated public environment facilities.
