With the development of Marine resources development and utilization of gradually become national key fields, in recent years, underwater acoustic positioning technology is becoming more and more widely used in ocean engineering, developing faster and faster. Especially in the horse boat after the crash, sank underwater equipment positioning but also by the world’s attention. Underwater acoustic positioning technology can be used for the position of Marine black box positioning, orientation of oil and gas pipeline, cable laying,wreck removal, divers and so on. In this paper, the underwater acoustic positioning technology has been studied, design a set of good generality, simple operation, portable digital acoustic positioning system.The paper has introduced the development of underwater acoustic positioning technique and present situation at home and abroad, analyzed the underwater acoustic positioning launch device signal form, and put forward a kind of digital signal detection method and the process, and presented the working principle of digital acoustic positioning system Paper digital acoustic positioning system is put forward according to the working principle of the system prototype design and implementation method. First describes the hardware system model, the hardware system is divided into signal preprocessing module, data acquisition module, data processing module, display control module four parts, and the design of each module and core chip made detailed instructions. Secondly has carried on the detailed design of system software and algorithm, proposing the system signal feature extraction algorithm and the signal processing flow, and on the design of the hardware platform based on DSP and FPGA embedded software programming and development, realize the system function. Finally pool experiment has been carried out after completion of the system prototype, testing the technical performance of the system, the indicators system satisfies the requirement of development.
