With the rapid development of modern civil engineering, pile foundation has been used widely as a form of foundation. At the same time, the problem of pile foundation quality is also growing. In this paper, the testing of pile foundation in Qingdao was studied on the baisis of a high-level commerce-residence building pile. At last, the new method of pile test and needing note were put up by field test and theoretical analysis methods, combined on the basis of investigation, collecting and organizing large amounts of data, especially the data of Qingdao. The method used in the study has been proved that it was not only easy to use but also had good accuracy. Furtherly, the method can improve the pile foundation detection in Qingdao area, and our study could provide an important reference for the construction of pile foundation in the area. The test results are as bellow:(1) This paper summarizes ways of the pile testing technology in Qingdao,which bases on the engineering practice and pile testing theory. It analyzes the rationality with different type of pile and different detection methods.(2) We conducted a site pile testing, which bases on the Foundation Quality Testing of a Tall Building in Qingdao.We analysis the bearing capacity of PHC in pile testing from the results. When the vertical bearing capacity of PHC is not enough, we can solve the problem by hammering that can improve the compressive bearing capacity of single pile.The results can provide a reference for the design, construction and testing of a similar pile.(3) According to concrete piles of pile body completeness problem, first, the engineering pile was sifted through transient filtered mechanical impedance method, pile of questionable was verified by core sample, and verifies the low strain, core method, the consistency of the test results, but the core method of image detection results more intuitive.(4) The vertical load bearing behavior of the pile was studied according to measured data of impact-cone concrete pile of big tonnage static load test with 22800 k N in Qingdao. The results show that Q-s curve of the two test piles is slow deformation, do not appear obvious steep fall. That the large diameter rock-socketed piles of weathered rock have high bearing capacity, relying on static load test is accomplished very hard limit damage.(5) Put forward a kind of bedrock weathering degree of the standard penetration test criterion, with the standard penetration test of foundation engineering of Qingdao in the weathered rock foundation, in different weathered zone has accumulated a certain amount of data, provide a basis for the quantitative classification in judging degree of rock weathering.
