FEA(finite element analysis) plays a significant role in the whole procedure of products design, development, optimization and operation with the constant development of industry and the innovation of industrial products. Every stage of FEA results needs to be showed in the shape of report in a company, there are a lot of FEA results in the procedure and it would take a long time to make templates manually and deal with repeated FEA results, it is inefficient obviously. As for it, the second development of the FEA software ABAQUS for achieving a specific function of engineering analysis makes a great industrial significance. This paper is about developing FEA results automated post-processing system based on the Visual studio development plant-form and Python language in the ABAQUS software. Front interface is developed by C# language, the FEA results automated post-processing system based on ABAQUS by Python language is background program, they together make the FEA result showed as a report in the form of PPT as the client requested in just ten minutes instead of days and even weeks, which is a great improvement in products development.The research and the results of the paper would make a great significance in the field of ABAQUS industries like cars, aerospace and machines. The paper focused on the followed researches mainly:(1)Combined the ABAQUS and Python language to build the automated postprocessing system of Engineering component and used it as the foundation of second development. Discussed the details about the data function needed to be output and the achievement sentences in the automated postprocessing system.(2)Tudied the series connection technology between the Visual C# language and ABAQUS FEA software. Developed a convenient, practical and reliable FEA results automated postprocessing system with Visual C# language and ABAQUS.(3)Ran the FEA results automated postprocessing system with three ODB documents by the optimization of pipe section thickness and output the FEA analysis reports efficiently. Compared the time and the accuracy between the manual PPT reports and the FEA results automated postprocessing system reports, and it turned outthat the automated postprocessing system was more efficient about 800 times than manual reports.
