This paper is based on<the Research for the Iron Wheel Type Device of the Road-rail Vehicle of Two Drives>, that is to design the bogie used for it. So the vehicle can be driven on the road and can travel on the railway. This paper has carried out mainly the following aspects of work:Firstly, according to the design requirement, the paper achieved the scheme design of the axle-box inside suspended bogie. It is also the physical basis for the study of the dynamic performance of the next step.Secondly, the dynamic model of railway vehicle is established by using multi-body dynamics software SIMPACK in this paper. And the dynamic performance preliminary test of the vehicle model was carried out. Because of the existence of less ideal dynamic performance, it should be improved as the requriment. As the suspension parameters of the bogie have a decisive effect on the dynamic performance of the vehicle, this problem can be solved through the use of multidisciplinary optimization software Isight.Thirdly, the dynamic model of Simpack under the minimum curve is used as the model to be optimized, the suspension parameter of the bogie is used as the optimization factor, and the dynamic performance index of the vehicle is used as the optimized response in Isight. After the optimization, we would obtain a more excellent dynamic model on the whole.In this paper, sample points were collected by the optimal Latin hypercube test design method. Then the sample points were constructed as the Kriging approximation model. The feasibility of the model would be proved by error analysis. The approximate model can be carried out with the multi objective optimization when the error is within the allowable range. After the suspension parameters of the multi objective optimization are updated to the vehicle dynamics model, the dynamic performance test would be carried out again according to the standard of railway vehicles. Comparing the dynamic performance of the before and after optimization, most of the dynamic level of basic have different degrees of improvement. The more outstanding bodie was achieved.Lastly, the whole vehicle’s dynamic performance indexes were compared and evaluated before and after optimization. Evaluation indexes include Sperling stability index, vibration acceleration, derailment coefficient, overturning coefficient and wheel rail lateral force, etc. Analysis results show that after optimization calculation, Analysis results show that after optimization calculation, integrated performance of vehicle dynamics increased by 24.8% in the paper. The optimization of dynamic performance is accomplished.
