Gearbox is a key component in the wind turbines, as the wind turbine capacity has been becoming larger and the devices need to work in more complicated environments, it should have higher reliability to keep the wind turbines operating safely in the design life. Fatigue reliability study on large power wind turbine gearbox under complex loadings could give technical supports to improve the gearbox durability index, this will be an inducement to make technical breakthrough for the parts of large wind generators, and significantly, to enhance the engineering level of China’s wind power equipment and promote the development of wind energy industry.In this paper, a model 2.5MW for the study of wind turbine gearboxes, gearbox transmission system high level of thermal-structural coupling, strength and fatigue life and fatigue reliability study. Main tasks are:(1) The gear mesh modeling and model, from three dimensional model for the two-dimensional model, to fit the scale of existing computers;(2) Use of Thermo-structure coupling of finite element method in gear unit gear contact friction factors, related factors such as speed, gear module on gear rolling temperature and stress analyses;(3) The degree of influence through various related factors analysis of gear transmission, of a wind turbine gearbox high-speed dynamic analysis is carried out,direct thermal-structure coupling dynamic analysis, thermal-structural step dynamic calculation, get the gear tooth surface contact stress distribution;(4) Based on the theory of fatigue gearbox high-speed Thermo-structure coupling finite element analysis of gear transmission system on the high level of reliability fatigue life prediction under different conditions, and calculate the fatigue reliability of parts under the stated design life;...
