With the increase of the high-rise building’s number and the architectural layers, the durability of concrete structures caused social wide attention. The Fiber Reinforce Plastic which owns excellent performance gets extensive use in civil engineering field. In this paper, through axial compression test of BFRP-PVC confined self-compacting recycled concrete short column with different wrapped ways and strip interval, the influence of the wrapped ways and strip intervals on carrying capacity, deformation capacity and failure patterns of the BFRP-PVC specimen was analyzed. The main research results are:(1) The ultimate bearing capacity and the deformation ability of the PVC pipe of the short concrete column increase obviously after wrapping FRP on the outside of PVC tube.When the whole layers of FRP are the same, the strength improvement rate and the deformation capacity of the short specimens entirely lined with FRP along the PVC tube and then pasted FRP strip by interval way on the outside of the specimens are obviously better than those of specimens wrapped with 3-layer FRP by the strip interval way along the PVC tube.(2) For the short column lined with entirely-wrapped FRP over the PVC tube and then wrapped FRP strip by interval way, the outside strip interval distance has different influence on the ultimate bearing capacity, and the influence degree is related to the interval distance. The ultimate bearing capacity of the short column with entirely-wrapped 2-layer FRP on the inside of the PVC tube decreases with the increase of strip interval distance on the outside.(3) According to the working mechanism and failure pattern of BFRP-PVC confined self-compacting recycled-concrete short column, comprehensively analysis the new type of parcel constraint effect on the ultimate bearing capacity. Based on computational formula of CuiYunshi and Yu Feng, the calculating formula of bearing capacity of BFRP-PVC confined self-compacting recycled-concrete short column with the new covered ways was gotten. The calculated values of the formula agree well with the experimental results.
