At present, our country’s economic development a big step forward, people’s living standards are a big step towards a well-off society, the demand for infrastructure is also growing, high-rise, high-rise building(structure) building materials continue to emerge, and these buildings excavation of the foundation is also more and more people concerned about security issues excavation has become one of the most construction should be noted. In the process of implementation of the excavation, in order to ensure foundation stability and security, we must have a detailed monitoring program, strict control of its deformation.This paper describes the status of research and development as well as to know before excavation monitoring the excavation of foundation pit deformation based on theoretical studies to Liu Biju Beijing Qianmen outlets pit expansion project as an example, using the PLAXIS 3D software Numerical simulation analysis of excavation settlement displacement at all stages of the surrounding soil settlement law, foundation pit structure in the horizontal direction, vertical direction, and a simple analysis of the factors affecting the stability of the excavation.The results of the analysis showed that the main pit surrounding soil deformation and load and excavation processes related to this deformation of foundation pit excavation concentrated in the middle of the north, east and near the smaller displacement, the long north side Pit Supporting structure to the inside of deformation greater than all other sides. With the excavation pit depth increases, leading to deformation within a certain range around the soil increased, but the presence of the supporting structure, the deformation rate decreases. In this paper, the actual situation because no groundwater influencing factors are also not comprehensive enough, hoping to be improved in the future.
