The Sustainability Research Of The Product Design

In the post-industrial age, with the development of the Internet, people have progressed the science and technology regardless of the cost. Although the pattern of life and standards of consumption has greatly improved, it also triggered a series of negative affects. Such as the waste of resources and the pollution of environment. Since the industrial revolution, the design of products has already become the key force of consumerism and economic growth.So more and more product designers begin to call for and create sustainable products.According to research, the present designers often tend to focus on the form and the function of the product, ignore tie processing, manufacturing process of the product, recycling and it’s using environment.This finally led to the product couldn’t recycling after the end of it’s life which caused the unrecyclable of the product and the waste of the material. The author analyzed from the life cycle of the product design. The stage of design was the source of the the whole problem. The design must take each style into consideration, such as the selection of the raw materials, the production of the product, the use environment of the product and the way of disposal after the end of the product.Around the subject of sustainability of product design, the author raised the concept of how to make full of the method of sustainability design from the research background of it.On the basis of further explain of this concept, the author would analysis all the factors included in the the design of sustainability product. Finally the author made a conclusion of how to have a systematic design of sustainability product and made a original practice.The purpose of this paper is to point out the necessity of developing sustainable product design at present, and provide the design method and case of the system. In the original design practice, the author made an effect combination of the recycle materials which will have an impact on sustainable product design and the sustainable design method. The author made the whole life process of the product form a closed loop recycling system. At the sametime, the author in the works in practice joined the guiding function of recycled materials try to wake up people’s awareness of garbage recycling. Let our environment to the direction of sustainable development.
