With the development of modern science and technology continues to progress, and to meet the requirements of the development of the industrialization process. The requirements of the operating parameters of the mechanical equipment are rising. Therefore, the problem of friction on mechanical equipment is becoming increasingly apparent. Such as rotating machinery, to improve efficiency, modern rotating machinery turn stator gap getting smaller, thus likely turn stator contact and friction in operation. The friction between the contact surfaces will result in wear and heat, and then will cause great harm to the rotor system.Antifriction caused by the ultrasonic vibration as a novel method to reduce friction widespread attention. This paper based on the theory of tribology and elastic Hertz theory, bond kinetics analysis, analyzed the theory of the antifriction principle of the surface contact and the concave cylindrical contact, and applied to the rotor system with fault of the frictional heat bending. This paper analyzed its principles of friction and vibration suppression. And verified the theoretical results by experimental qualitatively. The main work of this paper includes the following aspects.1. Analyzed the theory of the antifriction principle of the surface contact and the effect of the contact normal force, the surface roughness, the frequency and amplitude of the ultrasonic vibration.2. Expand the theory of the surface contact to the concave cylindrical contact; also studied the effects of various system parameters on the effects of friction, in addition, include the effect of the radius difference of the two cylindrical surfaces.3. Studied the rotor system with fault of the frictional heat bending, applied the theory of ultrasound antifriction to suppress vibration and friction rotor system. Researched the changes in the temperature of the heat caused by friction, and studied the vibration response and stability, and the amount of thermal deformation.4. Verified the antifriction effect of ultrasonic vibrations on two planar contacted by experiment, and confirmed the application in the suppression of the rotor system friction and vibration.
