Experimental Study On Soft Soil Foundation Reinforced By Vacuum Combined With Grouting

Land reclamation is one of the important means that coastal cities develop and utilize the ocean resources, expand and develop coastal space. It can make full use of the space of the ocean resource, and has profound development prospects. The vacuum preloading method is the main method in soft soil foundation of land reclamation now. However the foundation capacity of soft soil foundation reinforced by vacuum can not meet requirements of high-rise buildings or projects which need higher foundation capacity. This paper mainly studies how to improve the foundation capacity of soft soil foundation by the vacuum preloading method, so as to meet more projects.Utilizing experimental facility which made by ourselves to carry out the interaction mechanism between the vacuum preloading method and osmotic grouting through the model experiment method, so as to seek the best process combining site, and give the combination of theoretical model at the same time, which is ready to experiment and theory for the next process test and technology innovation.Do indoor simulated test according to the test steps. Measuring, comparing and analyzing physical properties of soil before and after text to know the effect of reinforcement. At the same time, measuring the soil settlement and strain values with water and soil pressure gauge in the process of the test.Expounding mechanism of action with osmotic grouting in theory, and putting forward settlement calculation formula, the slurry distribution and the quantity of osmotic grouting which is applicable to osmotic grouting.According to the results of experimental study on soft soil foundation reinforced by vacuum combined with grouting, comparing with pure vacuum preloading method, we can know how much the foundation capacity can increase after the vacuum preloading method and osmotic grouting. Summarizing the settlement regularity of soft soil foundation and find the best point by vacuum combined with grouting. Providing the basis for the application of soft soil foundation reinforced by vacuum combined with grouting in field.
