With the development of society and the rapid development of economy,China's infrastructure construction and large-scale projects continue to increase.Foundation treatment has become an important topic in the engineering project construction engineer,soft soil foundation,the distribution of a large number of rivers and lakes and inland river in our country,in order to ensure the project normal construction and use,must be treated on the soft soil foundation.The following three problems need to be considered in the treatment of soft soil foundation:(1)how to ensure the bearing capacity and settlement of the project in construction and use meet the design requirements.(2)how to improve the shear strength of soil rapidly,and make the soil have enough stability.(3)how to control the time limit and cost control on the basis of ensuring the bearing capacity,settlement and stability.Based on the above three problems,vacuum combined surcharge preloading construction technology as a way of soft soil foundation treatment,in the construction quality,construction period control and cost control has great advantages.So it is widely used in highways,bridges,airports,ports and civil buildings at present.During the construction of the highway,the embankment can be used as a heap load,and it can achieve good construction quality and economic benefits.The distribution and properties of reinforcement method and soft soil foundation,present situation and development process,based on the vacuum preloading technique in soft soil are introduced,through comparison with different foundation reinforcement method,shows the superiority of vacuum combined with surcharge preloading.Then on the basis of previous research results,the reinforcement mechanism and calculation of vacuum combined surcharge preloading are discussed on the basis of effective stress principle.Then,the construction technology and quality control method of vacuum combined surcharge preloading are discussed,which can provide guarantee for the improvement of construction quality.Finally,the soft foundation of a road overpass of Qingdao city reconstruction project reinforcement engineering monitoring data,demonstrates the rationality of vacuum combined with surcharge preloading reinforcement mechanism,and summarizes the basic law in the period of each index of soil reinforcement.From the measured data show that,this method not only can be superimposed on the theory of positive pressure and negative pressure pumping formed by vacuum preloading formed,from the actual project has been verified,and the effect is better than the single loading.
