Research And Development Of Customizable Svstem Of Product Modular Design

Under the background of economic globalization and diversification of customer requirements, enterprises have reduced cost, shortened the production cycle, improved the efficiency of development and acquired more market share through the application of modular design technology. In the process of implementing the modular design, enterprises need to apply the relevant software system to support the design process and manage relevant data in the process. However, there are different kinds of modular design methods and design processes among different enterprises, so the demands for software system are quite different. There is not a mature modular design system to meet the requirements of all enterprises in the current market. The life cycle of system design will be longer, the cost will be larger and the adaptability of software will be poorer if enterprises choose to fully customize software. To solve these problems, the paper designs and develops a universal meta system of modular design and studies the system customization technique, on the basis of analyzing the requirements of modular design system in enterprises, to enable enterprises to generate a specific system quickly with the meta system of modular design. The paper is organized as follows:The first chapter analyzes the customization requirements of the modular design system, and studies the related works. Then, it introduces the principles for customizing the modular design system. In the end, the main content and research framework are proposed.The second chapter describes the meta process of product modular design, including the main components of the meta process, the process of the modular design of new products and existing products, and then plans the meta functions based on the meta process. Finally, two key functions in the system for configuration design and variant design are formulated.The third chapter presents the formulation of the meta model of modular design, and describes the meta model, the relationship between different objects in the system using object-oriented methods. Also, the database is designed.The fourth chapter studies the customization technology based on the meta system of modular design. It proposes different customization technologies for the organization model layer, modular design process layer, modular design function layer and the product data model layer.The fifth chapter describes the framework of the system, including the technical framework, the system functions and the software architecture, and then makes a detailed description of the implementation and the relevant interfaces of the system. Finally, it verifies this system with the industrial steam turbine.The sixth chapter summaries the research work of the thesis, generalizes the main content of the thesis, and prospects research work in future.
