Against the backdrop of big data and Internet + era, new business environment is confronted with great challenges. Faced with increasingly complex individual needs, enterprises must respond rapidly and efficiently to the uncertainty of external environment in the constantly changing market. All of these lead to an increasingly project-oriented operation for enterprises. The key to the success of enterprise project depends on the reasonable project scheduling and effective controlling method. Since the Critical Path Method(CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique(PERT) of traditional project management only unilaterally considers the logical relations between working procedures instead of resource constraint and organizational behavior, therefore, many uncertainties are difficult to be tackled in the project practice, which results in repeated extension or even abortion. Thus enterprises have to pay a heavy price in the fierce market competition. Under such circumstances, enterprises are in dire need of new project management method which can solve problems in real working condition: delay of construction period, resource conflict, inefficiency and etc. At the same time, the new project management method can guarantee the optimization of overall operation of the project to the maximum extent. It is the same method as the Critical Chain Project Management(CCPM) proposed by Dr. Goldratt in 1997. Based on the Theory of Constraint and from the perspective of system, it fully considers the role of persons and skillfully combines the traditional project management method with human behavior, which creatively proposes the focused constraint factors and implements the core concept of overall optimization.Based on the analysis of traditional project progress management, this thesis introduces the brand-new project management method-- Critical Chain Project Management(CCPM) and illustrates its basic concept as well as practical application method:1. Based on the Theory of Constraint, the Critical Chain Project Management(CCPM) is introduced to find out constraints of project and identify reasons for delay. Through deregulation, the potential to accomplish the project on time will be tapped.2. Project planning and psychological factor during implementation are fully considered.3. Buffer zone is installed at the entrance between Non-CCPM and CCPM and the end of CCPM. Uncertainties in the project can be eliminated through project buffer, feeding buffer and resource buffer mechanism in order to achieve risk aggregation. Meanwhile, project complexity index, risk elastic coefficient and impact factor of working procedure will be proposed to calculate time buffer, which provides a more objective evaluation method. Then the thesis focuses on the introduction of Monte Carol Simulation and Crystal Ball Prediction Software. In the analysis process of specific SPT project, PERT/CPM project scheduling and simulation model of CCPM project scheduling have been established respectively. By use of Project 2013 and simulation software--Crystal Ball, simulation of the two models will be carried out for 20000 times respectively. The two models will be compared through probability analysis, which can directly show the advantage of CCPM over the traditional project management.SPT project example indicates that CCPM can be well applied in the practical project management. By virtue of Monte Carol Simulation analysis, uncertainty in the project operation can be handled in a more objective manner in order to enhance the quality growth, which has certain theory value and practical significance.
