In order to study the effects of steel corrosion on the bearing capacity and anti –seismic performance of reinforced concrete beam-column joints after fire, the accelerated corrosion tests were conducted to gain RC joints with various steel corrosion rates. The RC joints were fired for one hour and suffered cyclic loading afterward. 4 RC Beam- column joints were designed and the steel corrosion rates of joints were determined by controlling time based on the Ferraris law. Then the tests of 4 RC joints under cyclic loading were carried out, which had suffered from a fire. The effects of steel corrosion on the shear strength and anti- seismic performance of joints after high temperature were dissected. The main works carried out are as follows:(1)The study reported in recent years on the mechanical property of reinforced concrete after steel corrosion behavior and the mechanical property of reinforced concrete after high temperature was summarized,which was regarded as the theoretical basis for the test and numerical analysis.(2)RC joints samples were designed to be corroded by chloride ion, the steel corrosion rate of joints is determined by controlling time based on the Ferraris law. The actual steel corrosion rate was tested, which means the availability of the law.(3)To study the variation of the temperature field of the all parts of joints, the fire test was conducted on the reinforced concrete joints with rusty rebar.(4)The tests of RC joints under cyclic loading were carried out after steel corrosion behavior and high temperature.The development of cracks and the collapse mechanics were described, as well as the influence of steel corrosion on the anti-seismic performance, shearing resistance and collapse mechanics after high temperature was dissected.(5)Combining the research of mechanical property of reinforcement and concrete after steel corrosion behavior and high temperature,the strength calculation models on all parts of RC joint had been put forward,including the flexural strength of beam, the shearing strength of beam, the compression strength of column and the shearing strength of joints.Based on the temperature field and the steel corrosion rate of the joints,the yield strength and yield displacement was predicted.
