Water Level Control System Of Auxiliary Boiler Based On Active Disturbance Rejection Control

This paper hope to introduce ADRC(Active Disturbance Rejection Control) to the boiler water level control to achieve better performance in a simpler way. ADRC is the same as PID control with the strategy of "to eliminate the error based on error", but ADRC has the ability of observing the unknown disturbances. It’s a practical way to apply ADRC to auxiliary boiler water level control on tanker.First, build the dynamic mathematical model of boiler water level. Analysis the dynamic characteristic of the boiler water level based on the mass conservation and energy conservation of the gas phase and liquid phase in the boiler, to achieve dynamic characteristic equation. On this basis, according to the actual characteristics of the boiler operation, analysis and simplify the of water level model, to get the transfer function at the main factors.Secondly, study the ADRC theory, design the water level controller. According to algorithms and functions of TD, NLSEF, ESO, research the application of ADRC on boiler water control. Take the actual situation of auxiliary boiler into consideration, design the transition process, NLSEF, ESO and disturbance compensation. According to ADRC "self-immunity" feature, design of the boiler water level control system. Combine the empirical formula and significant of each parameter of ADRC, turn the parameters and use these parameters as the initial value of adaptive genetic algorithm to optimize the parameters and achieve a better performance of water level controller. Then verify the performance of the controller in MATLAB with common disturbance input.Finally, with the Xcode development tools, develop the the boiler water level control system visual simulation on Mac and show the working condition of the auxiliary boiler on iPhone and ipad.
