Ship navigation or positioning process will be the role of the wind field, so an accurate assessment of the ship to withstand wind loads on the ship’s movement is essential forecast, and its performance and ship propulsion, mooring performance, handling performance and stability, etc. Analysis also relevant.Traditional treatment methods for the assessment of wind load is carried out to estimate the direct use of wind tunnel testing or empirical formula to obtain the wind load factor. However, the higher cost of wind tunnel experiments tested in this way it takes, often not be implemented due to financial constraints in some engineering applications, and the empirical formula estimation method also has some limitations, as much based on the general equation for estimating the existing common type of ship, although with a wide range of versatility, the ship is a single specific estimates accuracy is not high, so the need to seek the help of other methods. In order to effectively quantify the wind disturbance on the ship dynamic positioning, the establishment of wind disturbance model, the establishment of a wind disturbance on simulation platform based on MATLAB software platform that can simulate the marine environment under any conditions, wind speed and direction for dynamic positioning of the ship power and wind disturbance torque. Offshore Oil 681 with a female-type boats, wind speed and direction by changing the angle of the simulation in the established simulation platform.Dynamic simulation results for the ship under the influence of wind disturbances are analyzed and compared with the results of the empirical formula, and then study the impact of wind load characteristics of dynamic positioning. Research can be used optimize the design of the ship Dynamic Positioning Controller.
