As a new type of lateral resistant system, steel plate shear wall attract experts and scholars from all over the world because of its higher ultimate bearing capacity, lateral stiffness, good energy dissipation capacity and ductility, good anti-seismic capability. And its application in the high-rise building and steel structure building become more and more widely. Many researches about lateral displacement capacity and seismic capacity of unstiffened steel plate shear wall and stiffened steel plate shear wall become warm. But the study on opening stiffened steel plate shear wall is rarely involved. Based on the domestic and foreign research on the performance of steel plate wall, this paper is going to research displacement performance and seismic performance of opening stiffened steel plate shear wall by finite element simulation. The contents of the text are as follows:(1)First-order critical buckling load which computed by Abaqus of shear wall plate shell model is compare to analytical solutions of first-order critical buckling load of steel plate shear wall. The results show that the finite element solution and analytical solution agree well. And this has prepared the research of following opening stiffened steel plate shear wall.(2)Lateral displacement capacities of steel plate shear wall with different opening rate and different transverse position, different longitudinal position, different ratio of height to width are analyzed. The results show that the influence of opening rate on the performance of steel wall is larger and influence of opening lateral position, opening longitudinal position and ratio of height to width on the performance of the steel plate wall is smaller. Opening position cannot be in the diagonal section in direction of the force.(3)Seismic capacities of steel plate shear wall with different opening rate, different opening lateral position, different opening longitudinal position, and different opening ratio of height to width are analyzed. This research involves changes of hysteretic curves, skeleton curves, energy dissipation and stiffness degradation. The results show that the decrease of the opening rate, the increase of the lateral position of the opening and the increase of the longitudinal position of the opening can increase the seismic performance of the steel plate wall. But the variation of ratio of height to width has little effect on the seismic performance of stiffened steel plate wall.
