In order to ensure the safety of the whole structure,it is necessary to strengthen the shear wall members with such openings.Bonding steel reinforcement method is one of the main reinforcement schemes at present.In this paper,the seismic performance of shear walls with different positions post-construction openings before and after reinforcement were studied.The main research results are as follows:(1)Quasi static tests were carried out on one shear wall without openings and three shear walls with post-construction openings in the middle,bottom and top respectively.The influence of opening positions on the seismic performance of shear wall are obtained.The results show that,the opening at the middle and bottom of the shear wall has a greater impact on the failure mode of the shear wall,while the opening at the top has a smaller impact on the failure mode.The bearing capacity of shear wall with openings in the middle,bottom and top of shear wall decreases by 17.5%,15.1% and0.9% respectively,and the ductility decreases by 9.6%,decreases by 18.0% and increases by 25.3%.The lower the opening position is,the worse the energy dissipation capacity is.(2)Three shear walls with different opening positions(the opening positions are located in the middle,bottom and top of the shear wall)are strengthened by steel plate.The quasi-static test of strengthened shear wall members is carried out.The influence of the location of the post-construction openings on the seismic performance of the strengthened shear wall is obtained.The results show that,the steel plate bonded reinforcement method is effective in restoring the bearing capacity,ductility and shear resistance of the shear wall.the energy dissipation capacity of shear walls with openings at the top and bottom is better than that of shear walls with openings in the middle.(3)The seismic performance indexes of shear wall members with different opening positions before and after reinforcement are compared.The results show that,the steel bonded reinforcement method has the most significant influence on the failure mode of shear walls with middle openings,and has limited influence on the failure mode of shear walls with bottom or top openings.The bearing capacity of the shear wall with the opening in the middle and the bottom is increased by 19.77% and 15.10%respectively,but the bearing capacity of the shear wall with the opening in the top is only increased by 6.91%.Except for the shear wall members with openings at the top,the ductility of the members with openings at the other two locations is improved to a certain extent.The energy dissipation capacity of the member with the opening at the bottom is the most significant,the member with the opening in the middle is the second,and the energy dissipation capacity of the shear wall with the opening at the bottom is the least.(4)Finite element software ABAQUS is used to further study the influence of the location and size of the opening on the seismic performance of the shear wall with postconstruction opening before and after reinforcement.The results show that,the lower the opening position is,the lower the shear wall bearing capacity is.Compared with increasing the size in the height direction of the opening,increasing the size in the width direction of the opening has a more significant weakening effect on the bearing capacity of the shear wall.The larger the opening rate is,the larger the bearing capacity is.The paper consists of 82 figures,36 tables and 84 references.
