This paper introduces the development trend and current situation of the automobile market in China and abroad, and studies the development situation of the modern automobile wheel. In-depth analysis of the alloy wheels on the basis of performance in order to reduce fuel consumption, reduce material weight and increase the service life of the wheel for the purpose of the proposed study design alloy wheels and performance test evaluation and validation issues.This paper for several kinds of aluminum alloy wheel product technology research and development of a series of inquiry, thinking about how in the phase of product development and evaluation basis during product design, in order to produce a product able to pass the wheel bench.Thesis combines research, a comprehensive analysis of three-dimensional design, finite element theory and technology, but also for the optimization of the program carried out a series of theoretical analysis, and the use of soft-ware to conduct indepth research. ANSYS software environment, focusing on a series of problems indepth analysis of Aluminum Alloy wheel products in development stage and how to carry out the optimal structure strength evalua- tion and optimization test and life cycle assessment, taking into account the relevant problems facing the specific conditions of the wheel bearing is com-plicated, according to the design model of ordinary vehicle dynamics, there is generally obvious error, therefore, this model based on the construction, the choice of design to wheel test bench load principle as the starting point, and the wheel is developed comply with the rim of the market requirements of the design, but the bearing test is determined according to the requirements and characteristics of bearing test of light alloy wheels automotive products in China in the creation of standards, to achieve according to the development of a series of test product analysis phase support more physical products.Aluminum alloy wheels to make use of Pro/E software the 3 d design of geometric modeling, strength of aluminum alloy wheels in software ANSYS analysis, optimization design, etc. After a series of analysis and calculation, the results of the original design products embody: maximum allowable stress significantly higher than that of itself of the aluminum alloy wheel bearing, high safety coefficient, lead to the consumption of material. In the aluminum alloy wheel rim, spokes etc after optimization design, while meet the standard requirement, avoid material waste, reduce weight, reduce the cost.After completion of structural design and optimization of sample test verification, according to the test results can be seen that using this article for the structural design and optimization of the aluminum alloy wheel, strength analysis, the theoretical performance of the physical components and the actual performance basic quite, can improve the quality of the products at the same time reduce the development cycle and cost.
