The Soviet Avant-garde Architecture Movement that was from the beginning of the 20th century to the 1930s revolted traditional and classical architecture form. The movement explored kinds of new methods of architecture creation. In the field of Avant-gard architecture, many Soviet outstanding Avant-gard architects struggled with classical and eclecticism architecture thoughts, and try to find the modern way of architecture.The Soviet Avant-garde Architecture Movement went towards the end after 1930s, whose theory experienced still and anabiosis and has hardly spread to today. Although the thought of Soviet Avant-garde Architecture Movement meet with difficulties in Russia, but it widely spreads in the world especially in western countries. The paper finds the context of how Soviet Avant-garde Architecture theory spread by analyzing relevant important events.The Soviet Avant-garde Architecture Movement is a vanward and particular part of modernism architecture movement. Although the Soviet Avant-garde Architecture Movement only lasted for about ten years, it’s influence is profound and cosmopolitan. After the end of the movement, it’s theory spread by these methods as follows:one is mass media, one is magazine and book, one is the exchange, analysis, and creation by architects. The disseminators of it have been changed. And there are some similarities between the means of Soviet Avant-garde Architecture and today’s architecture.
