In today’s society, energy is in short supply. In order to respond to the national energy conservation and emission reduction, the electronic field has also developed a research and development of energy efficient circuit structure of the boom. As is known to all, the traditional passive diode bridge rectifier in power and telecommunications system is widely used. However, in high power applications diode will consume a lot of power, also led the heat dissipation problem can not be overlooked.This thesis based on 600 V BCD process designs of a active bridge rectifier switch control chip. Active bridge rectifier with low loss of N type power MOSFET tube instead of the traditional diode, thereby greatly reducing the power loss of the rectifier circuit and to increase the available voltage.Compared with the traditional diode full bridge rectifier, active bridge rectifier can achieve high space utilization and power efficiency of the rectifier, there is a high value of application, which is the innovation of this thesis is located.This thesis begins with the analysis of the basic principle of the simple rectifier structure, synchronous rectification and zero crossing detection, established the active bridge rectifier mode proposed the whole chip module structure, and elaborates the design way of thinking of key parts in the chip design. Then the zero crossing detection module and a gate drive module carries on the detailed analysis and design, particularly the gate drive module, internal sub units of many, in this paper, the gate drive module’s six sub units carry on the detailed analysis, design and simulation. After the analysis and design of each module, the whole circuit of the active rectifier is simulated by the simulation software. Finally, the design of the successful use of power MOSFET instead of the traditional rectifier diodes to achieve the results of the bridge rectifier.Through this graduation project, the author verifies the feasibility of the active bridge rectifier, and achieve the objective to reduce the power consumption.In the near future, energy-saving rectifier structure will be more and more market, the speed of development will also more and more quickly.
