Countries in the world are facing energy shortages, economic development in all regions affected by energy issues has become increasingly significant. Due to the large population in our country, the energy shortage problem is more outstanding performance. With the improvement of people’s quality of life, emphasis on the importance environmental issues are constantly improve, all sectors of society are advocating "energy-saving emission reduction, green travel", in order to achieve the sustainable development of society and countries in terms of energy consumption issued related policies.Urban rail transit system is one of the largest energy systems in city public system; energy-saving operation of trains is very important significance. Combined with the characteristics of urban rail train and train control rules, and reducing energy consumption is still much room to improve, therefore, optimization of train operation control processes are an important way of energy saving. Coasting control is a cost-effective means of saving energy and shows very good flexibility in balancing the train running time and energy consumption issues. Combined with the characteristics of Metro trains and train energy consumption characteristics, this paper propose a fast search algorithm of energy-saving optimization operation speed control curve based coasting control.Energy-saving operation of trains speed curve process consists of two stages:The first stage, consider punctuality, precision parking, passenger comfort, line conditions and train performance, trains run at maximum capacity, by finding the shortest train running time, get time-rich for energy-saving optimization, this stage is based part of optimization algorithm; Second stage, based on maximum capacity run speed curve, in front of brake run section increase coasting, through searching different coasting starting point and using coasting gradually replaces braking, choosing priority optimization of brake segment by comparing the rate of energy saving in optimization process, the rich time will be distributed to the brake segment of the energy-saving rate maximum, when the time just meet rang planning run time completing energy optimization and generating energy-saving run speed curve. In addition, the algorithm gives the approach of constant speed operation, by adjusting the coefficient of traction and coasting control to determine the length of constant speed running section, this stage is the core of optimization algorithm. Meanwhile, algorithm took into account the train diagram of metro transit in the process of transport.Last, to verify paper feasibility and correctness of optimization algorithm in this paper, optimization algorithm is implemented based on C language programming tool of Matlab, combined with specific line data to train run simulation validation, the simulation conclusions is:in this paper based on coasting control energy-saving optimization method can obtain just meet planning run time of interval and the energy consumption lower of speed curve; Algorithm not only optimization processing speed fast, can satisfies the demands of high precision timing run at the same time. By comparing different from coasting optimization approach of this paper, it is concluded that the proposed energy saving optimization on the energy saving effect is higher than one approach 10.8%,4.5% higher than the optimization at the same time; When emergency occurs, the optimum algorithm can plan out a new speed curve fast and reduce unnecessary delays and stop events.
