Because of the need for economic and cultural development,people in striving for greater interior space, for example, it was envisaged that using a spatial structure cover the entire block, the whole square,even the entire valley to form an artificial climate-controlled living environment or leisure environment,which requires span up to 500 meters,or even super large span spatial structure with thousands of meters.On the basis of existing large span space structure,this paper presents a novel lare span spatial structure--three-way giant grid structure.Then according to the existing structure design specifications,designing a 600 meters span three-way giant grid structure dome which is to be built in the suburbs of Taiyuan,and do some works with this structure:(1)Used Midas gen 8.0 the finite element analysis software to calculate the structure (checking the strength and stiffness of the structure under the static load,earthquake action,and the influence of temperature,and do the modal analysis under the action of earthquake);and statistics index of the various economic and technical of the structure.(2)Introduces the existing large span space structure construction method,and puts forward using step lifting method to realize the installation and construction of large span space structure.(3)Introduces the construction sequence step lifting method, and divides the structure construction section; according to the sequence of construction step lifting method to construction process partition structure into 16 stages of construction,the construction process and for each construction step involves a brief description.(4)According to the construction stage division, using Midas Gen 8 the finite element analysis software to analysis the construction of the structure,the calculation results show that the deflection of the structure and bar strength, stability meet the requirements of the code.(5)Designed the unloading construction scheme, briefly introduces the procedure of Jack unloading,and using Midas Gen 8 the finite element analysis software to simulate the unloading process,determining the displacement of each unloading unloading step size.(6)Designed the lifting scheme, and introducing the lifting principle; according to the calculation results,extracted the lifting stage lifting point force,according to the extracted force design of lifting bracket;the lifting bearing are designed;determined the jack model;details of the lifting process.(7) According to the displacement of the structure in the construction process, the forward iteration method is used for the structure in the construction process, the key point of construction coordinate pre-set value is calculated,so that the structure of the completion of configuration and design configuration deviation in the range of accuracy.(8)Analysed the influence of temperature effect on the structure of the construction process,and proposed the corresponding solution.The analysis and calculation result of the 600 meter span three-way giant grid structure indicats:the load transfer path of the structure is clear, economic and technical indicators of the structure are in the reasonable range; step lifting method compared to other construction method has its unique advantages and characteristics, has broad prospects for application; for the step lifting method, eliminate the jacking thrust process is difficult and important technology of this method,only the design of lifting scheme and the lifting support reasonable, can better will step lifting method applied to engineering practice; temperature effect on internal forces of structure in construction process can not be ignored, at the same time in the construction process of large span space structure, to fully consider the temperature effect, the preset multiple sets of contingency plans, to ensure the normal operation of the construction.
